Installation does not start!
Effect from your OS or Anti-Virus software.
1) The case that the Windows user-account you are using has limited privileges. - Please try with a Windows user with Administrator rights.
2) The case that the Windows Firewall function is blocking the connection. - Try temporarily disabling the Firewall function. (You can check your Firewall setting by going to Windows Start Button → Control Panel → Security Center → Windows Firewall.)
3) The case that your anti-virus software is blocking the connection. - Please select a setting that allows the game to connect. If this fails, please try temporarily disabling the firewall function of your anti-virus software.
*For details of the settings and how to change them, please refer to the manual for each of the different software programs.
I cannot install DUEL ACCELERATOR!
1) Please update your Operating System to the latest service pack.
2) Please install with Administrator rights.
3) Please try to install 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86).

The shortcut icon could not be created on your desktop after installation.
You can also start the game directly from the task bar or the installation folder.

Which port does this game use?
This game uses TCP port #80, and also all of the ports from #5730 to #6500.
I bought a new PC. Can I still use the same Trunk as before?
Your Trunk is stored on the server. You can play the game with any PC, if you have your User ID and Password.(*1)
*1) A of Max 10 decks are stored on the server. These are the ones you have used in the recent duels.
I re-installed the game. Can I play the same as before?

How do I uninstall the game?
Go to the Windows Start Button → Control Panel → Add or Remove Programs.
Select "Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE 3" from the list of displayed applications and click "Change/Remove".
After that, please follow the instructions in the uninstaller application.
How can I reinstall the game?
1) Uninstall the game using the Uninstaller in Control Panel.
2) Delete all files related to Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE 3 which are in the same directory address.
3) Install the game with latest installer from the Official Homepage.
Start-up
The screen only shows black (or white), and nothing shows up.
Could you check your PC spec, and check "Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE DUEL ACCELERATOR" official site and compare the minimum requirements listed there to your PC specs.

The progress bar stops during the update process.
This software automatically updates on each start-up. The progress bar indicates the update process.
The update process may take a long time if there is a big update. Alternatively, it might be because the servers are having problems/ are busy, or a connection problem has occurred. If this is the case, please try again after a while.
When it seems to have stopped, there is a possibility that the download is continuing actually little by little.

Where should I register User ID?
You can register here.
What is "Inquiry ID"?
It is an ID that is used for personal identification.
If you want to contact Customer Support, this Inquiry ID is necessary.
Please keep it separate from User ID and Password.
I can not enter User ID and Password.
- Please make sure that the cursor is in the box.
- The typing function may be affected by peripherals like joysticks.
→Please unplug such peripherals and try again.
I was asked by someone claiming to be from Konami to disclose my User ID and Password via D-mail or E-mail. What should I do?
Konami will never ask for your Password or User ID via these formats.
Please do not disclose your User ID and Password to anyone.
If you receive such a mail, please report it immediately to Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE support.
Internet Connection
I get a message "No response from the server" frequently.
This message appears in event of a connection error.
Please make sure that your internet connection is working normally.
Also, check our official homepage for notices for Maintenance or Server Problems.
Please note that we do not restore Duel records unless it is a problem with our game servers.
*If the problem occurs due to our server, we will restore as much data as possible. However, Please be informed that there is a case we cannot guarantee the all data.
Do the players with high PC spec./ high-speed internet connection have an advantage?
There are no advantages as such. However, if your connection is a very slow one, you may not be able to select your move within the time limit.
"This User ID is already logged in." is displayed and I can't log in.
When the game is exited by an unexpected error (e.g. being cut from the server etc...),Game Information might remain in the server.
Game Information is updated periodically (around ten minutes), Please try again later.

Which part of this game is charged?
Purchase of Card and Avatar is charged.
When you purchase these things, you need a BOOSTERPASS Point.
You can increase BOOSTERPASS Point by enter a BOOSTERPASS Code in the game.
You can purchase a BOOSTERPASS Code by following method:
1. Buy BOOSTERPASS.(*1)
2. Purchase by Credit card.(*1)
4. Purchase by SMS.(*1)
Other services (duel with other player and NPC, register User ID, chat function, join the user events etc.) are free of charge.

What is BOOSTERPASS?
BOOSTERPASS Code is printed on the BOOSTERPASS card.
You can purchase it from Konami style and retail stores.
You can increase BOOSTERPASS Point by enter a BOOSTERPASS Code in the game. (*1)
If you enter BOOSTERPASS Code in the game, not only can you increase your points,
the first one you enter will give you a bonus theme deck,
and from the second registration on, you will be get a single bonus card. (*2)
In addition, there is a privilege period of "Duelist Premium".

What is "Duelist Premium"?
Extra service for the customer who has increased a BOOSTERPASS Point.
You will be able to use below service during a certain period:(*1)
1) You can Duel against the All NPC characters. (*2)
2) You can join the official events.
3) You can create "User Events".
4) You can create a Team.
*1) There is a possibility that the service will be changed without notice.
*2) Depends on the status of the game, some of the NPCs will not be able to Duel.
Carry over from DUEL EVOLUTION.
Will any data regarding the "Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE DUEL EVOLUTION" will be carried over?
Part of the data will be carried over to "Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE DUEL ACCELERATOR" from the last data of "Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE DUEL EVOLUTION".
The data which will be carried over is as below:
1) DUELPASS Point (*1)
2) Cards
3) Avatar
4) Title
5) Structure deck and recipe
6) Deck (*2)
7) Friend list and blacklist. (*2)
8) Team information
9) Results
*1) 1 DUELPASS Point will be changed to 1 BOOSTERPASS Point
*2) If you install the "Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE DUEL ACCELERATOR" on your PC and same drive which was used to play "Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE DUEL EVOLUTION", you will be able to carry over the data.
What will happen to Mileage Points of DUEL EVOLUTION?
Mileage Points will not be carried over to DUEL ACCELERATOR.
What happens to the data during the beta testing?
Any data regarding the beta testing of DUEL ACCELERATOR will be cleared, and will not be carried over to the final version of the game.
What will become of DUEL EVOLUTION?
Customers will not be able to play DUEL EVOLUTION after 03/01/2010.

Trade and Rental
What is Trade?
You can trade the card between players.(*1)
*1) The card displayed as "Not available for trade" can not be traded.
What is the card "Not available for trade"?
You can use this card in editing deck and duel,
You cannot trade or rent this card between players.
Including the Bonus Theme Decks and some of the presented cards are not available for trade.
You can use this card in "Card Swap",
What is "Card Swap?"
Card Swap is choosing to exchange cards with Saiga.
You can trade number of Saiga's required cards for your selected card.
The card you have received from Card Swap becomes not available for trade.
Exited from the trade though promising to exchange (hand over) objective cards afterwards.
Please be careful during the Trade. Do not pass cards one-sided.
Please exchange cards.
It is not possible to return the traded cards.
There will be no indemnification made for an unfair trade resulted from card trading.
What is Rental?
Temporary, you can rent a card to other player.
Different from the trade, rented card will be return back to the original user after a certain time period has passed. (*1)
*1) The card "Not available for trade" can not be rented.
Security questions
My friend asks me to share my account with him. Is it ok?
No, unfortunately it´s not ok.
Whenever you share your User ID details, you violate the Terms of Service as you aren´t allowed to give your access details to anyone else.
More importantly, whatever action is taken through your account you are the only one who could be held responsible as the account details are directly associated to you.
Am I allowed to buy and sell cards or User IDs on internet auction places or websites?
No, this isn´t allowed according to the Terms of Service.
It´s advisable to report such offers immediately to us and to the auction place where the card or User ID is being offered.
Am I allowed to use two accounts?
Generally it´s not forbidden to use two different accounts as long as you created them yourself and don´t use them in order to increase your statistics in any way. Please don´t buy or sell any User IDs.
Can I trade BOOSTERPASS codes in-game for cards?
No, as this constitues the so-called RMT (Real Money Trade).
Please only trade cards for cards as acting otherwise would mean to breach our Terms of Service. Also please understand that this kind of behavior is very unfair against every honest player who is dependent only on card trades.
Why shouldn´t I use the so-called "BOOSTERPASS Generators"? It´s offering points for free!
Please note that to download such softwares is very insecure.
Generally, something like a “BOOSTERPASS POINT hack” or “BOOSTERPASS Generator” doesn’t exist.
These fake software generators contain malware such as trojans or keyloggers which record your activities on your PC and send entered access details to the programmer. In case you are not the only person using this PC, you could even possibly endanger all other users of the same system!
Where can I enter my user ID and password safely?
There are two places for the safe usage of your access details. One is, when you log into Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE directly.
The other only website which requests your access details legally, is the same website where you registered your User ID at, the URL http://www.yugioh-online.net. Before entering your access details in the profile login space, please make sure to re-check the URL in your browser!
I received E-mails from Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE asking for my access details. Is it safe to answer?
No, please never reply to such an E-mail.
Members of Konami Digital Entertainment will never ask you for passwords or request you to log into a foreign URL or via an E-mail link.
If you should receive E-mails or messages requesting your User ID together with your password and/or your registered E-Mail, please report it to us. Again it´s very likely that someone else is trying to gain access to your User ID!
Team
What is "Team"?
It is a group which expresses Bonds between players.
There are functions such as "Team Chat" and "Team Score".
What is "Team Chat"?
It is a chat in which only the team members can participates
What is "Team Score"?
It is a score that is added depend on the event in which the team members participated.
The Team Level goes up depend on Team Score.
When the Team Level goes up, it comes to be able to use the Team Protector.
Moreover,one card is presented to all team members when Team Score that the team acquired in the season is over 2000.
Form Team
A player who doesn't belong to any team can form a Team.
The player who forms the Team becomes the leader.
Leader
The leader can invite other players to the team.
The leader can set a member as a subleader.
The leader can transfer leadership to the subleader (The leader becomes a subleader).
Subleader
A Subleader can invite other players to the team.

How does anti-virus software affect to the game?
Your anti-virus software might block the connection.
Please select a setting that allows the game to connect.
If this fails, please try temporarily disabling the firewall function of your anti-virus software.

What will happen to the Duel record, if a Duel is interrupted?
The game shut downs <When YGO ONLINE freezes or is terminated on the user's side> … Loss
Disconnected from the server<Connection problems on the user's side> … Loss
Opponent disconnects (intentional or otherwise) … Win
Opponent is timed out (intentional or otherwise) … Win
Server goes down <When the YGO game server experiences problems> … NO result
Is there a time limit?
There is a 3-minute time limit for each turn. If you don't click on 'EP' (End Phase) within 3 minutes, you will automatically lose the Duel. There is also a 1-minute time limit to choose whether or not to activate a card during your opponent's turn (e.g. Trap Card).
What is the difference between "Trunk" and "Deck"?
"Trunk" is where all of your cards are kept.
"Trunk" data is stored on the server.
"Deck" is a group of cards you select from your "Trunk" to use in "Duels".
* In this game, you can use a Deck with 40-60 cards.
The Deck data is stored on your PC, and server (*1). So, when you play the game with a different PC, or after re-installing the game,
you need to re-create it.

What is the maximum of one type of card that I can have?
You can own 255 of a single type of card.
It is not possible to own more than 255 of a single type of card.
Also it is not possible to increase this amount any further by trading.
As rented cards aren´t counted as your own cards, the maximum collectible amount of a card can exceed 255.
"You do not have a Deck."is displayed and I am unable to Duel.
There is a possibility your deck does not meet the requirements of the Duel that you want to participate in.
Please check the deck that you edited at the Deck Edit screen.
The new season will not change the Forbidden/Limited list on the Edit Deck screen.
"Latest Regulation" changes depend on the season.
Please confirm Regulation Settings
Acquired Special Packs aren't displayed at Blister's Hideout.
There is a possibility that your Right to Purchase Packs have reached the maximum(600).
If you hold 600 Right to Purchase Packs and acquire new a new Right, the ones with the earliest expiration date will be deleted from your inventory.
Example) If you hold 600 "Right A" (Expiration date:2011-02-01 10:00:00). And acquire "Right B" (Expiration date:2011-01-15 10:00:00). and "Right C" (Expiration date:2011-01-30 10:00:00).
1.Acquire the "Right B".
Holding Rights are 599 "Right A" and 1 "Right B" .
2.Acquire the "Right C".
Holding Rights are 599 "Right A" and 1 "Right C".
*This is happen because expiration date of "Right B" is shorter than "Right A".
The latest acquired Right is always kept.
Please note whether the expiration date is shorter than ones you hold when you acquire the Right.
What does the color of the player mean?
You can check what other players are doing.
Red : The player is dueling.
Blue : The player has Created a Duel and is waiting for opponents to join.
White : Other

Appearance ratio of the card is linked to Rarity.
