A team in Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE is no different to any other in that it is a group made up of multiple players.
If you join a team, its name will be displayed above your own player name.
In addition to that, you will be able to make use of all new and exciting team tools such as "Team Chat".
"Please note:
* Each team can have up to 100 members. "
To look at the Team List, click on the newly added "Team List" option in the "Main Menu".
This will be the option to choose when it comes to doing anything team related.
You can form your very own teams here.
The player who formed the team automatically becomes its leader.
"Please note:
* You can not form teams if you are a member of any existing teams."
* You can create a team name using both alphabetical letters from A to Z (in higher or lower case) and numbers from 0 to 9.
* Team names must be kept to within 16 characters.
Any teams you formed can be disbanded here.
"Please note:
* A team can only be disbanded by its leader."
Select this option should you need to remove a player from your team.
"Please note:
* Players can only be removed from a team by its leader."
In order to leave a team, you will need to select this option.
"Please note:
* This option is not open to Team Leaders. "
Now, you can check exactly where members of your team are on the map!
Clicking a player avatar on the map screen will reveal the player's profile.
On the profile, there will be a new option "Invite to Team".
Click on it if you want to add the player to your team.
The player on receiving an invite will be notified by a "Team Invitation" icon that will appear on the menu bar.
Should you receive one, simply click on it to reveal a message asking for your approval. Select "yes" if you wish to join!
"Please note:
* Only team leaders can send out invites."
By selecting "Team" in the chat option, you can filter out players other than those that belong to your team.
Team Members in other lobbies can also take part in "Team Chat".
