Welcome to a new dimension of dueling! Now you can test yourself against CPU controlled characters!!
You can challenge NPC's who each have their own unique decks and playing styles at any time!!

NPC's are marked with a special flag like the ones shown below!
Keep your eyes out for them!
Domino City

Duel Academy

* NPC Duels will all be single Duels.
* Some NPC's may refuse a duel if certain conditions are not met! It will be down to you to find out what they are!!
"Friendship Level" describes just how well you get on with NPC's.
Each individual NPC has their own "Friendship Level".
So, it's time to start duelling and get to know your NPC's better!!

"Friendship Level" is shown by the number of starts above an NPC avatar's head.
Please note that there is a maximum limit to "Friendship Level".

Once this is reached, the level will no longer increase no matter how many further duels you play.

NPC's may also give you surprise gifts once you get to become more and more friendly with them.
These may include cards, avatar parts as well as deck recipes.

* If you are given a "Deck Recipe", please note that you will not get the cards that make it up.

Your "Friendship Level" is initially marked by these small stars.

Once you reach a certain number of small stars, it will turn in to one large one. The example here means you have reached "Friendship Level 1".

Once Level1 is reached, further duels with NPC's will add more small stars until the next level is reached.

"Frendship Level2" will be shown as 2 large stars!

Your Duel records with NPC's have no effect on your overall level, score or total Win-Loss record.
NPC duels cost 1 DUELPASS POINT like any other duel played in Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE with 1 card awarded after the duel.
* Duels which are prematurely ended by surrendering or disconnecting will also be treated in the same way.
  1. Place your mouse cursor on a NPC avatar, then click the left mouse button.
  2. After some dialogue with the NPC, a message will appear asking you whether you want to duel against the particular NPC.
  3. Click on Yes to accept the duel.
Click on No if you wish to decline the duel.

After some NPC duels, you may be given a "Deck Recipe".
A "Deck Recipe" is a guide that show what cards are necessary to build a certain theme deck.

Go to "Edit Deck" and then select "Structure Deck". The below window will be shown on screen.

If you donft have the cards that are needed to recreate the deck, they will be listed under "Cards Missing".

* If you are given a "Deck Recipe", please note that you will not get the cards that make it up.
* There may also be times where certain cards can't be included as they may be forbidden or restricted by the rules.
